For this tutorial you just need a guitar with 6 strings and a pick- that's all! I'll be using this steel-string acoustic, but you can use any kind of guitar to learn the material and then you can always upgrade or change it up down the line. The steel string acoustic guitars always sound particularly great for strumming, but a nylon string guitar will get the job done as well. And you could even play the examples on an electric guitar with a clean tone and on the neck pickup if you had to. Cause again, the most important thing is to get the examples under your fingers and in your head and then you can always upgrade or change your gear down the line!
