First we are going to talk about the intro and outro to our song. There is a wall of feedback and noise going on that is played very freely using a variety of effects and noises. It can be pretty tough to teach these parts in a video, or to replicate it exactly. However I want to give some insight into how the band gets these sounds, and you can you try out some of these ideas yourself during the play along using whatever gear you have at home.

1. Again, these parts are played really free so it's hard to teach the part noise by noise. However, the first thing you can do is to make sure you have the gain all the way on your amp or pedal. Starting with the volume down, swell into this wall of noise using some harmonics on the guitar so you can hear the noise and feedback.

2. Once you have that tone set, simply experiment with playing the harmonics all over the guitar neck and you will also hear in the song the guitarist playing behind nut and bridge of the guitar.

3. In the recording it also sounds like some other noises are being made, but in our tutorial I am going to play through the intro and outro using our high gain setting and simply having fun making noise with the guitar. Try the same thing with whatever gear you have at home.
