A Les Paul style guitar is the perfect choice for this song, but any guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position is suitable. The humbucker provides plenty of power and clarity for hard rock riffing and soloing.

As far as amps go, any cranked up Marshall style tube amp is a great choice. Crank up the preamp gain for some meaty distortion. For the lead guitar, you may want to kick in an additional overdrive/distortion pedal for extra gain and sustain. Add some reverb to both guitars for depth. Here are the settings I used:

Marshall Plexi Model: Drive: 100% Bass: 55% Mid: 60% Treb: 65% Presence: 55%

Spring Reverb: WetDryMIX: 25%

Tuning: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb (low to high)
