First we're going to take a look at the main melody of our song, which is heard as both the intro and outro. We will be playing a banjo melody, as well as some simple open chords with our other two guitars. Here are some key points to help you through it:

1. The chord progression is ||: Asus2 | Dsus2 | Fmin11 | E :||. It is played twice in the intro, and four times during the outro which does a fade out.

2. Our banjo melody uses a combination of fourths played on the G, B, and E strings. There are two variations on the melody, with one being played in the intro and one being played during the outro. Both are very similar.

3. Guitar #2 will play sustained, open chords of each chord in our progression each held out for a measure. Guitar #3 doubles this as well to create a full sound. Make sure to anticipate these chords slightly each time.

4. Our main chord progression is a common pop progression with some added color and extensions. This main chord progression is I - IV - VI minor - V. You hear this progression all the time in all kinds of music.
