After the piano/vocal intro, the guitar launches into the main riff based on double stop shapes up at the 12th position. The double stop shapes outline F# minor and E major chords. This can be a tricky little riff with the rests and slides, so be sure to take your time with this one and practice it slowly first.

Once the band kicks in, you'll hear the second half of the riff, which is based off an octave shape, alternating between the high octave note and a note that is a step down (G# and F#).

Be sure to catch the lightning quick variation leading into the final chorus, with 3 strums on a double stop at the 12th position that outlines the E major chord!
