First let's talk a little bit about the guitar tones that I'm using to imitate this song, but always remember that you can play almost any song on any guitar you have- it's ultimately all in how you play and how you dial whatever gear you have. But now let me talk you through the settings that I'm using for this song!

I'll be using my Gibson 335 for all the guitar parts and I'll be running it through a modeled Vox AC30 amp with normal and brilliant volume both set to 11 o'clock while the rest of the knobs are at 12 o'clock. That's where I get the basic tone, and I'm using the middle pickup position. I'm also using a Fender spring reverb with the mix set to 9 o'clock, the decay set to 9 o'clock, and the tone set to 2 o'clock.

For the chorus and lead parts I'm adding a distortion pedal similar to a Rat, and I have the distortion set to 12 o'clock, the hi-cut set to 3 o'clock, and the volume set to be a touch louder than the bypassed volume.

For the supporting rhythm guitar, in the arpeggiation parts, I will be adding a Vibe pedal to get that ambient pulsating effect. I have the volume set to match the bypassed volume and the depth set to 10 o'clock.
