In this lesson, we're going to look at the pre-chorus and chorus progressions which are both played on the acoustic guitar.

The pre-chorus is a simple figure utilizing the D, Em and C chords.

The chorus is pretty straightforward in that both guitars play the same arpeggiations of the G and Cadd9 chords. The chorus ends with two bars of a Dsus and D chord arpeggiation.

The first variation occurs coming out of the 2nd Chorus. In this section, you play the Dsus to D chord figure 3 times.

The second variation occurs in the musical break between the 3rd and 4th chorus and is the same arpeggiations we've already covered, however the Em, D and C chords are strummed.
