Monster Blocks: 35W Head and Cab Amp

Here's an amp you won't want to keep in your bedroom. This amp is a beast. 35 watts is lower wattage than the 50 watt amp we tried earlier, but the makeup of this amp (the head/cabinet combo), the hand wiring, the tube configuration make this amp loud.

Of course loud isn't always the goal but this isn't an amp you'll play small venues or practice rooms with. It has to be cranked to get that natural, warm break up which is its true tone.

As always, the guitar you match with the amp is crucial. Here are several examples to give you an idea of how different the tone can be. This amp is also run with no effects so you hear the natural overdrive.
