This tutorial takes a look at the timeless rhythm guitar playing of Keith Richards, who is one of my absolute favorite guitar players. His playing is inspired by everything from early rock'n roll and blues to gospel and country music and, in my opinion, his playing defines what a lot of people like about the electric guitar in a rock context!

We'll be learning several aspects of Keith's style here, including his use of open G tuning, his particular approach to strumming, his use of a capo, adapting the use of open G tuning back to standard tuning, and left and right hand tips and tricks around his "honky-tonk" style.
