In researching this song I found incorrect tabs in the wrong key and a lot of discussion about how the song was done in a G tuning. In my own experience I haven't found any evidence to support the G tuning theory and will be teaching the song in standard tuning, in the correct key of F. This makes the verse section chord structure C Major, Bb Major, and F Major.
We'll use the full sixth string C barre chord at the eighth fret, followed by the full sixth string Bb barre chord at the sixth fret, followed by the fifth string F barre chord at the eighth fret.
When we get to the F chord you'll notice the suspended 4th turnaround or Bb/F. In the intro this is done by barring the F chord on the tenth fret of the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th strings as a triad, then adding the D at the 12th fret of the 4th string and the Bb note at the 11th fret of the 2nd string.
I find it quite easy (so far!) to navigate, and found the "where do I start" to be very helpful! I'm getting there!!
I LOVE the forum, too. I've never been one to use forums, but the GT forum is full of great people and helpful information at ALL levels! Congrats on a WONDERFUL site!!Good job!
