Another great way to further discover chord embellishment is by simply hammering into a power chord. The technique of "hammering" or using a "hammer on" is most often done in lead guitar playing. It can however be used to add nice embellishment into power chords in a wide variety of rock rhythm styles. This example sees us using this technique by switching between a C and Bb power chord on the A and D strings. Demonstrating this style of chord embellisment allows us to see it's use in the style of Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath.)
