I recently discovered this on You Tube and thought to spread some 2019 Christmas cheer by sharing it with you.

Those of a certain age who can recall The Zombies in their '60s heyday & know who Rod Argent & Colin Bluntstone are should especially enjoy it.

Recorded live 6 years ago, for lovers of live performance this is pure gold. Download and enjoy the entire hour and a half concert in HD on your big screen.

Teasers.

Time of the Season

Tell Her No (Love 'em all, but my personal fav)

She's Not There (Late '64, this was their first success with a single)

Thanks, @manXcat. Being a huge Santana fan I've always prefered their version of "She's Not There".

But, yes, I am "of a certain age" and "can recall The Zombies in their '60s heyday."

I appreciate your sharing this.

Thank you matonanjin2.

Do you know I'd forgotten about the Santana cover, and shouldn't have as it released at a salient time of contemporary music awareness for me in the late 70's, with so many epic bands' music in their heyday. ie. Eagles, ELO, Chicago. I like/d Santana, and also liked their adapation of "She's Not There" at that time it released. Worthy of honourable mention, but different.

That said, like many songs subsequently released as covers, for me this is one of them where the arrangement and delivey of the original is unsurpassable. Another is "You Really Got Me" by the Kinks.
