I am curious as to the difference in Fundamentals 1&2 between the "Old with Lisa" and "New with Anders" courses.

A quick look seems much common material, is one more suited to the acoustic vs electric guitarist perhaps? Teaching style?

Thank you

not specific to acoustic or electric.

Usual things like power chords generally used more on electric.

Lots of differences even around the same subjects like using base notes, arpegiating, introduction to chords, strum patterns.

There enough differences for anyone inbetween GF2 and experience level 1 to go over things again.

Better or Worse can only be according to individual bias and opinion.

None of it is compulsary, so give it a go, try the bits you might like and skip any bits you feel really confident with.

Just 2 styles some of which will suit some individuals better

Very enjoyable going through the new GF 1&2

You'll have a slightly steeper learning curve when moving from the original GF 1 & 2 to, for example, rock 1 than if you work through the newer versions instead.

There's also a wider range of topics in the newer lessons.

Personally, I think Lisa has such a calming voice that she's probably the best choice for anyone who finds learning guitar to be daunting :)
