What amp and recording equipment do you use at home ?
I thought it would have been good enough. I guess this dragon guitar must be just too good though :)
What kind of file will you put up ? Will it just be one that demonstrates the guitar and all the different aspects of it ?
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

IĀ“m going from a Boss ME-50 directly into a cheap Behringer Eurorack MX802A mixer, and from that into my Guillemot Maxi Studio Isis soundcard. that was sufficient for my ibanez, but not for my dragon as it seems. i was in studio with it at the very first day i got it, and in there the sound was absolutely great. i also played over a huge fender am and it blew me away. did some slapping on the low string and it sounded great *L*

but now it seems that i should record my stuff rather in studio or get a realy good amp.

i will create a website (its long overdue anyway) as soon as i have some soundbits and better pix

I guess if going to the recording studio becomes to much of a problem you could get a really good amp.
What amp would you get to go with your dragon ?

I'm curious as to what type's of wood were used for the body, neck and fretboard. Also got some questions over in the gear forum about the ME-50 if you don't mind taking a look.

Thats a very good question. i have discovered, that a huge expensive amp displays a guitars character very good while a multieffectsboard leaves little space for the guitar itself. most guitars sound pretty much the same when run trough a multieffects unit only.

i have tried several amps like that fender-cyber thingie (the top+cab version - not the combo) and a huge Sun amp and i was litterally blown away. but those things cost heaps and before i can afford an amp like that i will have to financially recover from that guitar :D

i hope that thing will make me rich and famous. *ponders contacting ulli john roth*

I have found that too. Definatly not a good idea with a good guitar then as it will take away its unique tone and just give it more tone just from the pedal. What kind of music do you usually play apart from classical kind of stuff ? dont you like some power metal bands too ?

hehe, you should be rich and famous anyway. I think your knowleadge of guitar and your playing is really good. This new guitar is just an extra :)

Well classical is normally just a hobby of mine. usually i play symphonic speed/powermetal aswell as progressive stuff varying from dt-style to stuff like zappa and alot of medieval music mixed with rock/metal.

and as for the rich and famous thing and all.. well.. a man can dream.. how would that sound.. ulli and me on stage - he with his sky-guitar and me with the dragon.. and we call it "dragon in the sky" concert :D

Or he could just call your luthier and give him the 3,500 Euros to make another one.
... and that's all I have to say about that.

This is a killer guitar but I have one question, what wood did you use for the body and fretboard?
