By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
Playing in a band ?
Anyone play in a band ? Play locally or around the world ?

Yep. Our website is: http://www.electricblueseuphoria.com
We play locally around the Vancouver, B.C. circuit. We've opened for Matt Good (dunno if you guys have heard of him, but he's big in Canada) and Age of Electric (now defunct...I think it's Todd Kerns band or something now). We've also performed and won many Battle of the Bands, headlined festivals, etc.

I haven't had a band in quite some time. I plan on spending the next few years mastering my technique, breaking out with an amazing corporately/technically successful album and then crumbling under the pressure of creating a successful follow up cd, eventually disappearing from society completely in a confused paranoid and isolated state to be found dead three years later due to heroin OD.

I was in a band called Jones Conspiracy a couple years ago. I had one of our songs playing in a dream I had last night. It was a good song :)

I want to be in a band so bad that it's driving me crazy! The only reason I'm not, is because, I can't find anyone near me that plays the drums and/or bass. Other than that, everyone I've played with hasn't been dedicated enough or just didn't enjoy it enough or were too musically immature. And by musically immature I mean, only wanting to play what they want to play, not wanting to learn new or different songs, not wanting to try to get better, won't listen to constructive criticism, is not open to anybody else's input/opinions, and is wanting to be in a band for the wrong reasons. I guess all that means is I'm out of luck :(

I thought I'd also mention that an article was recently written about my band on this website:

Kind of cool. :)
I'm Matt, the guy on the left.

Well, playing guitar does take a bit of a gentle touch.

I used to play in a band. Played for quite some time till the drummer got a huge ego and wanted to play cover tunes when everyone else wanted to write. He got mad and turned into a bitch so me and the singer quit.
