Here's my newest attempt at recording something. This is my interpretation of Cat Stevens’ “Father and Son”. "Tea for the Tillerman" was one of my favorite albums growing up.

I stripped the guitars and vocals from an original recording leaving the bass and drums as a backing track. I recorded the rhythm with my Yamaha FGX-412C-MAB through a Samson Technologies Q2U USB/XLR Dynamic Microphone. The lead was recorded with my Fender Special Edition Telecaster FMT HH connected via my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface and Garage Band. No additional effects were applied to the Yamaha and the Telecaster just used the Clean Guitar, Amazing Tweed amp in Garage Band. A little compression was added to my vocals. Here's the link to it on SoundCloud...

Here's a link to the lyrics and chords as well as the lead guitar part (if you're interested)...

Great material. A lot of effort has gone into this. Well done! šŸ‘

So, I just got the Bias FX 2 plugin and am really impressed with how much better it sounds.

Bias FX 2 Acoustic/Acoustic Like amp was applied to both guitars and vocals, and a little compression was added to my vocals.
