My thanks for the following:

To Christopher Schlegel for in-depth music theory & Lisa McCormick for braving an electric guitar to help explain that theory on guitar in the distant past

To Anders for the in-depth blues & rock channel. To Mike Olekshy for the Evanescence and Iron Maiden artist styles. To Dave Celentano for the Megadeth!

And of course to everyone else who made GT what it is today, but the above are my favourites. To show my appreciation, I subscribed for another full year.

Thanks so much for this opportunity,

Chris Jones.

P.S. how could I forget Ben Lindholm and Neil Waters for the dedicated metal channel?

Thanks again, everybody at Guitar Tricks!

Neil! My favorite GT golden oldie!!

Glad you'll still be around, Drake.

Much obliged, John. I'm pleased to have made your acquaintance this past week. You should know that the first beginner riff I ever played here was the batman theme of the '60s by Neil.

Ahh, the nostalgia. Heaps of fun!

Thank you, Chris!

And congrats on making progress understanding some music theory on the guitar - it's not all that easy!

Have fun, play on -

I appreciate the time taken for the replies, Chris & Lisa

I remember picking up a nameless strat type guitar around 23 years ago and just randomly copying the riffs/chord progressions to my favourite Iron Maiden songs without truly understanding music.

That is until later when I found GT. Or should I say found me? Since then, the curriculum here has really broadened my horizons. It really is second to none.

Have a great week.

Regards, Chris!
