I'm 48 years young, and just got my guitar for Christmas. I started messing around with one in College, but had to sell it as I needed the money back then. I always regretted it.

Well here I am, starting new. After learning a couple songs off the internet, I decided I didn't want to just mimick being a guitar player, I wanted to truly learn how to play. I'm glad to see so many of us in the same boat. It will be fun to listen to eveyone's stories and their personal highs and lows as we go along. Time to do some scales.
