The jamLink is an audio interface that lets you plug in an instrument and start playing and singing in real-time with other jamLink users over a high-speed broadband connection. The jamLink is controlled using a computer on the network and can deliver CD quality sound with virtually inaudible latency as far as 500 miles and sometimes further. Beyond that range, jamLink users can still enjoy collaborating with others, writing songs, producing remote sessions, and using the jamLink as a tool for distance learning. The jamLink works for guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and vocals - Basically any instrument that has a 1/4” instrument output.
To participate in the beta program, you and your bandmate are required to have a high-speed Internet connection. Participants are also required to use the jamLink a couple times a week. If you use the jamLink and provide us feedback, it’s yours! If not, you will be obligated to return it to us.

Upstream Bandwidth: 1Mbps or 1,000 kbps
Downstream Bandwidth: 2Mbps or 2,000 kbps
(Most DSL connections are too slow on the uploads)
