Fresh off from my digital multitrack recorder.
Just very minimal mixing done, have not mastered yet.
I left the mistakes in the final take becasue I felt good about the "energy".
Somehow, I can't set up my gtr to eliminate the grounding humm. Sorry you guys have to hear that.
Critics and comments very very much welcomed :)

Hey man, just checked it out, very lydianesque feel for a blues track! Nice though, like the off feeling (in a good way) - has the odd Vai influence hear and there which sounds cool. Post your set up in the recording part of the forum and you might be able to get an answer to the hum (may not be a groundloop). Also, change the settings on your page to accept comments and recommed other artists - I'll link up to you and leave some comments.

Thanks Superhuman! your comments really means a lot to me.
Yup, enabled the site to accpet comments. Can;t wait to hear more of your comments. Thanks !!
Well, the reason I think its a grounding thing is becasue the wire at the back of my gtr got disconnected.(where the whammy bar's springs are)
I only have one axe and it has been with me since 1992. So the insulation of the wires are now very brittle.
Well, I'll try to recall the settings and post them :)

I like it. You and Superhuman both have this ability to take the music in directions I would never think of and it works. Well done!

Thanks Nick :) Thanks for taking time to listen.
I always try to incorporate different elements into a single piece, maybe because I'm a Gemini ;) And being a hobbyist , I can totally forget about "commercial-appeal" and just play for myself and others who appreciate what I try to do.

OK, the settings I used:
Line-in direct to the D16 muilty track recorder.
All the effects are from the recorder itself.
Using the 'Hi-Gain' distortion for the end solo section. It is supposed to simulate the Les Paul+Marshal Brit-Rock sound. The gtr was recorded dry - without reverb and any modulation. Just added a little reverb and delay later.
