When I am playing with the guys we get jaming and I want to go into a solo, but I am tired of the same "fingering the chord" movement is there any other easy way to play a small solo with out the normal chord pattern.

Learn the fretboard and learn more scales and figure out before you play again, what sounds good with what chords and what doesn't fit. Just learn more and you will find that you will have a wider range of steps to take during a solo!

Try playing parts of the solos, your favourite guitarists
play. You can get a lot of inspiration from that!

I agree with that other guy that was sayin' stuff that I'm gonna put into different words. Learn more scales. Try hybrid scales, or switching between major and minor scales when you solo. Just don't stop trying.

Oh Yes, i forgot. Always learn the melody if you are soloing over say the chorus. Start by playing the melody and listen to how it sounds over the chords. Then you can take parts of the melody and use in the solo, or you use a rythm-figure or a melodic figure and improvise over that.
Consider carefully how to start and end the solo!!
Good Luck!
